The sealing strip under the edge of the

top part of the cooktop provides a

sufficient seal for the worktop.

Do not let sealant get in between the

cooktop frame and the worktop.

This could cause difficulties if the

cooktop ever needs to be taken out

for servicing and possibly result in

damage to the cooktop frame or the

worktop.
